The session – led by Eric Rowles, a nationally recognized speaker who has led presentations for major companies and organizations including Starbucks, Habitat for Humanity and Wells Fargo — will focus on what it takes to achieve radical transformation in the workplace.
“No matter who your customer base is, you can’t approach your work in 2018 the same way you did in 2017 – let alone 2007,” Rowles said. “Things are moving at a terabyte speed. It’s time to ask, ‘What should I be doing now to ensure that I’m ahead of the game in 2027?’”
The three-hour session will cover case studies illustrating disruptive innovation, the difference between change and transformation, the five stages to radical transformation and more.
Attendees can expect a high-energy and motivational presentation. Rowles – a former professional DJ who has worked with artists including Gwen Stefani, The Notorious B.I.G. and Billy Joel – implements music into each of his sessions.
“We’re excited to bring such a unique and thought-provoking presentation to Flint and Genesee County,” said Michelle Hill, Director of Core Initiatives and Shared Services at the Flint & Genesee Chamber. “It’s a timely topic for anyone who wants to stay at the forefront of their industry.”
