FLINT, MI – It’s by human voice alone. Renowned a cappella group m-pact takes listeners on a soulful journey by abandoning instruments, creating music using simply their voices.

Considered to be “one of the best pop-jazz vocal groups in the world,” m-pact has performed with Ray Charles, Sheryl Crown, Boyz II Men, and Natasha Bedingfield. The group, which has been performing for more than twenty years, has released five full-length albums, three EPs, and six singles.

In the summer of 2016, m-pact’s two founding members, Trist Curless and Marco Cassone, left the group to pursue other opportunities. This change led to a revitalization of the group’s talent, m-pact says.

Now, the award-winning group is scheduled to hit the stage of The Whiting on Oct. 25 at 7:30 PM.

“Around the globe, mesmerized audiences buzz from the thrill of m-pact’s vocal acrobatics, innovative orchestrations, and commanding yet authentic stage presence,” said Ashley Schoen, the marketing and communications manager of The Whiting. “Unknowing ears of all ages come expecting entertainment but leave enriched from an indescribable experience!”

Tickets are on sale now, and are $35 for adults or $30 for seniors and children. Students with a valid student ID can purchase two tickets at $12 each.
