Comma Bookstore to host arts workshop for students, families

FLINT, Mich. — Comma Bookstore & Social Hub will host The Creative Lineage Project: A 2Gen Performing Arts Workshop Series, designed for high school students and their parents or caregivers.

The series will kick off with its first session on Saturday, March 29, 2025, followed by a second session on Saturday, April 5. The opening workshop will focus on spoken-word poetry, offering participants an opportunity to explore storytelling, stage presence and creative expression in a supportive environment. Lunch will be provided.

The workshop is open to all experience levels. Organizers say the initiative aims to foster creativity, deepen family connections, and promote well-being through the arts. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
