Flint area Secretary of State office set to close temporarily for renovations
MUNDY TWP, Mich. — The Secretary of State branch office at 5512 Fenton Road will be closed for two weeks starting Friday, May 16, for remodeling.
According to the Michigan Department of State, the office will close at 5 p.m. that day and is scheduled to reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 2.
Renovations will include reconstruction of the greeter counter with new dividers and plexiglass, carpet replacement and other facility updates.
While the office is closed, most services can still be completed online at Michigan.gov/SOS, where residents can renew driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations and request records.
