Flint to hold free brunch, resource fair for seniors

FLINT, Mich. — A free senior brunch and resource fair is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McKinley Center, 249 Peer Ave.

The event is intended to make it easier for seniors to connect with services and resources by bringing them into the community in a welcoming and easy-to-access setting, according to a news release from the City of Flint.

As part of the event, the Michigan Secretary of State Mobile Office will be on site offering appointment-free services, including:

  • Driver’s license renewals
  • Vehicle registrations
  • Disability placard applications and renewals

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with representatives from several community organizations, including the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, the Flint Stroke Coalition, Molina, the Crim Foundation, and the City of Flint’s Office of Public Health and Lead-Based Paint Program. Additional organizations are expected to participate.
