Genesee Intermediate School District to host preschool enrollment kickoff event

Flint, MI — The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) is hosting a free Preschool Enrollment kickoff event at the Flint Children’s Museum.

The preschool kickoff event will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from noon to 5 p.m.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children to explore the museum and learn about the various early childhood programs available.

“Preschool lays a crucial foundation for lifelong learning; nurturing cognitive, social, and emotional development during the formative years,” said Director of Early Childhood Programs, Jodi Ramos, Ed.D.

“Investing in preschool education yields significant benefits, equipping children with essential skills that pave the way for academic success and personal growth.”

All children ages birth to five and their parents are welcome to attend. The MEL Bus will also be on-site for anyone who would like to apply for an early childhood position. Immediate interviews will be available.
