FLINT, MI — It was a close primary for Flint Mayor Karen Weaver and State Rep. Sheldon Neeley. The two will now face off in the November general elections as Flint voters decide who will serve as Flint’s mayor.
According to unofficial results on Aug. 6, 2019, from the Genesee County Clerk’s Office Weaver came in with 3,815, Neeley had 3,586, businessman Don Pfeiffer came in at third with 1,198 votes and former City Manager Gregory Eason came in last with 452 votes.
