Public hearings on senior services planned for Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee counties

FLINT, Mich. — The Valley Area Agency on Aging will host public hearings to discuss its Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) and gather community input on senior services and programs for adults 60 and older in Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee counties. The plan covers caregiver programs, priority services, funding and in-home support.

Public hearings will take place at the following locations:

• Brennan Senior Center (Flint) – Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. (1301 Pingree Ave., Flint)

• Imlay City Senior Center – Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10 a.m. (395 E. Third St., Imlay City, Mich.)
• Owosso Senior Center – Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. (300 N. Washington St., Owosso, Mich.)
