FLINT, Mich. — A new grant is helping the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan strengthen its workforce and expand professional development programs.
The $136,000 grant from GST Michigan Works! is being used to expand on-the-job training, leadership development and workforce readiness initiatives for staff in all departments.
These programs are equipping team members with the skills and tools necessary to improve operational efficiency, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of the Food Bank, according to a July 29, 2025 press release.
