FLINT, Mich. — The Civic Park Arts & Music Festival will take place Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Civic Park Centennial Pavilion, 913 W. Dayton Ave.
The outdoor event will feature local artists, poets and musicians, with live performances, interactive art exhibits, family-friendly activities, free food and giveaways. Organizers say the festival aims to celebrate Flint’s creative culture and provide a space for community connection.
“We’re excited to bring this level of creative energy to Civic Park,” said Jordan Johnson, event organizer. “This festival is about more than just entertainment, it’s about giving local artists a platform, uplifting our neighborhoods and bringing families together through culture and creativity.”
Highlights of the event include:
- Live music and poetry performances
- Visual art displays and interactive art spaces
- Family-friendly activities including face painting and canvas painting
- Free giveaways and community resources
Admission is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.
