Event to bring food, music and tradition together

FLINT, Mich. — Communities First, Inc. (CFI) will host its annual A Taste of
Culture on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

This free event will take place at the CFI Center, located at 1110 W. Bristol Rd., Flint, MI 48507, on the former Baker College campus.

“This event is all about bringing people together. We hosted A Taste of Culture for five
years and took a break following the pandemic, we are excited to be back,” said
Essence Wilson, Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer at Communities First, Inc. “By
sharing food, art, and music, we create space for understanding, appreciation, and joy
across cultures.”

The family-friendly event is open to the public and features global cuisine, entertainment, and cultural exchange.
