FLINT, Mich. — Hurley Medical Center’s annual holiday event, Hurley’s Glow 2025, returns on Tuesday, Dec. 16, bringing the community together to support pediatric patients at Hurley Children’s Hospital.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a special first responder procession, as police, fire, and EMS vehicles circle the hospital campus with lights flashing; a gesture meant to uplift young patients and remind families that the community stands with them.
Community members are invited to gather at 5:45 p.m. near the Medical Office Building entrance by the helipad on 8th Avenue for the official lighting moment. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, park in the ramp off 8th Avenue, and bring flashlights or glow sticks to illuminate the night.
Organizers say Hurley’s Glow has become a meaningful tradition for children spending the holidays in the hospital. The annual celebration brightens hospital windows, lifts spirits, and gathers Flint-area residents in a shared moment of compassion for some of the community’s youngest patients.
