FLINT, Mich. — A new original play is set to bring comedy and slice-of-life storytelling to downtown Flint.
“A Walk in the Park,” by local playwright Steven Shelton, explores everyday interactions and unexpected encounters in a fictional city park, with scenes set in locations such as the Buckham Bistro, a dog park and a chess table shared by two longtime friends.
The production is directed by Matthew Osterberg and produced by Mary Powers. Tickets are priced at $10.
The play will be performed at Local 432, located at 124 W. First St. in Flint, and free parking is available nearby.
Showtimes are:
- Friday Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday Jan. 24 at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m.
