FLINT, Mich. — Bethel United Methodist Church is stepping up to help this Easter season with a special food giveaway.

While many organizations focus on handing out Easter baskets, eggs and candy, Bethel will provide families with enough food to prepare a meaningful meal at home.

โ€œDuring these challenging times, we know how hard it can be for families to put a good meal on the table,โ€ a church spokesperson said in a statement. โ€œWe felt called to respond with a gift of love and nourishment.โ€

The free event will take place at 10 a.m. on Good Friday, April 18, at 1309 N. Ballenger Highway in Flint, and will continue until supplies run out. No registration is required.
