Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint CEO takes on new role
FLINT, Mich. — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint (BGCGF) CEO Tauzzari Robinson is stepping down to take on a new role.

Robinson has been tapped to become the Executive Director of the Michigan Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, where he will oversee statewide legislative initiatives, fundraising efforts, grant management and collaboration with 16 Boys & Girls Club organizations across Michigan.
He began his career with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint in 2009 as the
Unit Director at the Averill Avenue Unit. Over the years, he advanced to Director of
Programs & Operations and was appointed CEO in 2014.

“As I look back on the past 15 years at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint, I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve done to provide exceptional programs to youth in Flint and Genesee County,” Robinson said. “This organization is truly special, and I am thankful for our dedicated team of staff, volunteers, partners and parents who work tirelessly to put our kids first. I am excited to continue supporting BGCGF in my new role and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Thank you to the Board, our staff and everyone who has been a part of this journey.”
Under Robinson’s leadership, BGCGF reached a milestone in 2024, serving over 2,000 registered members—the largest membership in five years. The Club also expanded its Mental Health & Wellness programming, partnering with Mott Children’s Health Center to provide vital services at both locations and launched a Mobile Club program while increasing its reach throughout Genesee County.
Robinson and his family will remain in Genesee County as he transitions to his new role.
Amber Miller, the organization’s current Director of Operations, will serve as Interim CEO while BGCGF searches for a permanent successor.
