FLINT, Mich. โ The City of Flint has announced its holiday schedule.
Flint City Hall will be closed to the public Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Thursday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday, and Wednesday, Dec. 31, and Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Yearโs holiday.
The Flint Customer Service Center on Clio Road will also be closed Dec. 24, 25, 31 and New Yearโs Day.
The red drop box located in front of City Hall will remain available for residents to drop off water payments, property taxes, and other correspondence during the closures.
Waste Collection Schedule
Waste collection will be delayed by one day on Christmas Day and New Yearโs Day. The city encourages residents to refer to the waste collection map for delayed pickup schedules in their area.
Normal waste collection will resume the week of Jan. 5.
Priority Waste will collect Christmas trees, free of ornaments and lights, during the three weeks following Christmas. Waste collection occurs between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and all items should be placed at the curb before 7 a.m. on scheduled collection days.
