Flint, MI — The Flint Cultural Center is hosting its 39th Annual Holiday Walk on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The tree lighting starts at 5:15 p.m. in the Durant Plaza, between The Whiting Auditorium and Sloan Museum of Discovery. Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley, Steve and Rosanne Heddy, and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be in attendance.
During the Holiday Walk, residents are encouraged to take photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy caroling and live music, planetarium shows, curated crafts, refreshments and a roster of family-friendly activities.

There will also be three food trucks on East Kearsley Street, in front of The Whiting: Northern Smoke BBQ, Mr. Prince Gourmet Food Truck, and Bella Concessions & Catering.
The whole of the cultural center will be participating in the festivities. This includes Applewood, Bower Theatre, Dort Music Center, Elgood Theatre, Flint Cultural Center Academy, Flint Institute of Arts, Longway Planetarium, Gloria Coles Flint Public Library, Sloan Museum of Discovery, Whaley Historical House, and The Whiting Auditorium.
