Flint, MICH — Legendary rap artists will honor the late MC Breed with a concert at the FIM Capitol Theatre during Flint’s 810 Day.
The event, “Legendary Concert Edition,” set for Aug. 10 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., will feature Flint’s own The Dayton Family, Top Authority, and Jake the Flake, with a special appearance by 8Ball & MJG.
MC Breed helped put the city on the hip-hop map. The Flint native was best known for his 1991 breakout hit “Ain’t No Future in Yo’ Frontin.” He also collaborated with artists like Tupac Shakur and Too Short, leaving behind a legacy that continues to influence artists.
Tickets start at $50 (fees included), and a VIP add-on is available, which includes:
- Food and beverages from 6:30–9 p.m.
- Meet-and-greet access with select artists
- Access to the FIM Capitol Theatre Blackbox
