Flint residents invited to attend 2025 budget hearings

FLINT, Mich. — Flint residents will have the opportunity to attend discussions on the city’s proposed budget during the 2025 departmental budget hearings.

All meetings will be held in the City Council Chambers on the third floor of Flint City Hall, 1101 S. Saginaw St., except for the May 5 hearing, which will take place in the City Hall Dome Auditorium on the basement level.

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Police Department
  • 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Fire Department

Monday, April 7, 2025

  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Human Resources and Labor Relations
  • 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – City Clerk’s Office and City Council

Wednesday, April 16, 2025

  • 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Business & Community Services (Zoning, Planning, Economic Development, Community Development, Parks) and Building & Safety Inspections

Monday, April 21, 2025

  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Mayor’s Office (Blight Elimination/Cannabis Enforcement)
  • 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Finance Department (Assessing, Treasury, Fleet, Purchasing)

Wednesday, April 30, 2025

  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Legal Department
  • 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Office of the Ombudsperson

Monday, May 5, 2025 (Dome Auditorium, Basement Level)

  • 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Water and Sewer Departments
  • 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Transportation and Sanitation
