Flint to host 3rd Ward community meeting May 1

FLINT, Mich. — The City of Flint will host a Third Ward community meeting on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Flint Development Center, located at 4121 Martin Luther King Avenue.

The meeting is part of the city’s ongoing effort to engage residents, connect them with resources, and provide updates on neighborhood improvement initiatives. Third Ward residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about programs and services that affect their community.

Topics on the agenda include:

• The city’s tree removal and planting program
• Sidewalk repair program
• Water bill support for renters
• The HOPE program for home repairs
• Speed hump request and installation process
• Additional city and community-based resources

City officials will be present to share information and answer questions.
