FLINT, Mich. — A date has been set for Flint’s annual State of the City address.
This year’s event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at theย Capitol Theatre, 140 E. Second St., according to a Nov. 8 news release from the City of Flint.
Flint Mayor Sheldon Neely will deliver the address, offering residents a look at Flintโs progress and priorities for the year ahead.
City officials, council members and county and state leaders are expected to join residents for the evening presentation, which will highlight key accomplishments, ongoing challenges, and goals for the coming year.
In 2024, Neeley discussed Flint’s financial crisis, water infrastructure and gun violence during his 5th annual address.
There have been no public announcements as to what the Mayor will address during this year’s event.
