FLINT, Mich. — All shows at Longway Planetarium have been canceled for Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026 due to a water main break.
Planetarium officials said the water main break was caused by nearby construction activity.
Canceled shows for Friday include:
- Skies Over Michigan at 3 p.m.
- T. Rex at 4 p.m.,
- Queen Light Show at 7 p.m.
- Dark Side Light Show at 8 p.m.
Guests who have already purchased tickets for planetarium shows on either day may exchange them for a future date or request a full refund by calling Guest Services at 810-237-3400.
Officials said repairs are expected to be completed by the end of Saturday, but encourages guest to check the planetarium’s website for updates.
Sloan Museum of Discovery was not affected by the water main break and remains open during normal business hours.
