FLINT, Mich. — Genesee Health System (GHS) will host a job fair on Monday, June 23, for its new Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) facility, which is set to open soon in Flint.
The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at 1040 W. Bristol Road, with on-site staff available to answer questions and provide details about open positions.
“We’re looking for individuals ready to make a difference in the community by working at the new Behavioral Health Urgent Care,” said Nicole Williams, GHS Chief Human Resources Officer. “We have various open positions with excellent pay and competitive benefits at a facility that includes wellness and mindfulness workspaces for staff. GHS understands that those working in mental health also need mindful moments.”
The new 24/7 facility aims to provide urgent behavioral health services to meet growing community needs. Open roles include Clinical Coordinator, LMSW or RN Supervisor, Medical Clerk, Nurse Manager, and Psychiatric Nurse. Full-time, part-time, and contingent positions are available.
Employees at the new BHUC will work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, while receiving pay for 40 hours.
