FLINT, Mich. — The internationally acclaimed dance company Step Afrika! will bring its high-energy stepping performance to the FIM Whiting Auditorium on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m.
The Washington, D.C.-based company was founded in 1994 by C. Brian Williams and has toured in more than 60 countries. It is also recognized as one of the top African American dance companies in the United States.
Known for its lively stage shows, Step Afrika! blends percussive dance, storytelling, humor and audience participation into an interactive experience.
The family-friendly performance runs approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes with no intermission. Tickets start at $31, with $24 tickets available for Genesee County residents.
