Longway Planetarium to host “Mix & Mingle” fundraiser in Flint 

FLINT, Mich. — The Longway Planetarium will host its 7th annual “Mix & Mingle Under the Stars” fundraiser on Wednesday, April 15, featuring local food, drinks and a silent auction to support youth education programs.

Scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., guests can sample a variety of offerings from Genesee County chefs and brewers while mingling under Longway’s starlit dome.

The event’s silent auction will give attendees an opportunity to further support the organizations’ work.

Proceeds from the fundraiser go toward outreach initiatives and daily operations at Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium to help Flint-area youth engage with science and history programming.

The event is open to guests ages 21 and older. Tickets are $60 per person.
