Mott Community College to host Mother’s Day craft and gift show

FLINT, Mich. — The Entrepreneurs Society at Mott Community College will host its Mother’s Day Craft & Gift Show on May 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mott Event Center.

The event will feature student entrepreneurs and local small businesses selling handmade gifts, self-care products, desserts and more, offering a range of options for those preparing for the holiday.

Held just ahead of Mother’s Day, the show is intended to give shoppers a chance to find thoughtful, locally made gifts while supporting small businesses.

The event also serves as a hands-on learning opportunity for students, allowing them to run their own booths, interact with customers and build their businesses in a live setting.

In addition to shopping, attendees can take part in free activities, including a DIY keychain station and a card-making station. Free popcorn will also be available, and raffle prizes are scheduled to be announced at 2:30 p.m.
