FLINT, Mich. — Aspiring musicians, producers and audio engineers will have a chance to connect with industry professionals during Music Tech Industry Day at Mott Community College (MCC) this month.

Hosted by the college’s Music Technology program, the event will take place Friday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MCC Event Center, located at 1401 E. Court St. It is open to students as well as members of the broader community interested in careers in music and audio production.

The event is designed to give attendees direct access to professionals working in the music industry. Participants will be able to hear from guest speakers and learn about career pathways in fields such as music production, audio engineering and performance.

Guest speakers include entrepreneur and artist Jeff Ponders, three-time Grammy-nominated producer Brandon Williams, who serves as an artist-in-residence with MCC’s Music Technology Department, and audio engineer and artist Matt Ryan.

The Music Tech Industry Day aims to help emerging creatives build connections and gain insider knowledge about the music business while exploring opportunities available through MCC’s Music Technology program.
