Flint, MI — Shelter of Flint will hold an online auction from Monday, Aug. 5 – 26, 2024, to rally community support for its services, which aid people experiencing homelessness in the Flint area.
The virtual event will present items and experiences donated by local businesses and supporters. These items include a signed baseball from Detroit Tigers legend Lance Parrish, a 75-inch Samsung Smart TV, and a Disney World package for a family of four.
Participants can browse and bid on auction items online and the Shelter of Flint will notify winners after the event concludes.
In addition to bidding, supporters can make direct donations through the auction’s website.
Proceeds from the auction will help support Shelter of Flint’s programs and services, which include emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, and street outreach efforts designed to help individuals and families achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
