Communities First, Inc to host vision board event in Flint

FLINT, Mich. — Communities First, Inc. is inviting residents to start the new year with creativity and purpose during a free Community Vision Board Party.

Organizers say the family-friendly event is designed to help participants set intentions and visualize personal, family and community goals for 2026 in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Attendees will be guided through the process of creating vision boards, with all materials provided. Light refreshments, music and opportunities to connect with neighbors will also be available.

The free event will take place on Friday, Jan. 9, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Coolidge Park Apartments gymnasium, 3701 Van Buren Ave. in Flint. Children are welcome with parental or guardian supervision.

“Events like our Community Vision Board Party are about more than crafts—they’re about empowering people to imagine what’s possible for themselves and their families,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc.

Participants are asked to register in advance online at tinyurl.com/CFIVBP25.
