FLINT, Mich. — Flint Beat won 15 awards from the Michigan Press Association for its 2024 coverage, including “News Media Publication of the Year,” in the local circulation category for the fourth year in a row.
The awards received are part of the MPA Better Newspaper Contest, which received 349 entries from 13 Michigan News Media members for the 2024 contest.
“For us, the work is the reward. But on the occasion of the MPA BNC contest awards, let’s take a moment to say to all our coworkers and all our colleagues: good job — and to the winners, congratulations!” said Wes Smith, Michigan Press Association past president and group publisher of View Newspaper Group.
